1994. On the verge of giving up his dream of becoming a filmmaker, Ricardo is chosen to participate in the show "La Course", a competition that sends eight aspiring globetrotters on a journey to discover the world. When he lands in Cairo, Egypt, all the odds and misfortunes seem to conspire against him, making Ricardo's experience particularly challenging. In search of a subject for a video he must deliver in record time, the young man decides to step out of his comfort zone and tackle a much more serious and delicate issue for his report.
